• Is it not so much more relaxing to really meet and get to know people when you are not so bothered by having to remember the p’s and q’s of business etiquette?
• When you are playing a game of soccer or golf and you miss the shot, do you wait to be formally introduced before screaming your head off?

That’s why we figured that you would rather meet people in a more comfortable setting and really have something to talk about easily (other than the open goal you just missed!).  As business people, we have found that it is easier for us personally to mingle with other people who play with us, even those who come to play for the first time.  Compare that to meeting someone for the first time in a formal business setting – thinking about what to say and how to say, how you look, etc.

Well when you have played a round of any game and sweated it out, we are sure you are not going to bother about how presentable you are (since most around are in the same state) and you also do not have to worry about what to say, for there will be plenty to say.

Precisely for these reasons, we found that sports provides a good platform for business networking.  Our personal experience is testament to that – the founders all met while playing football weekly and started talking about something to do and this is the result - Networking through Sports!

We decided that it was good enough to share with others in our network and started to organise sports events to enable business professionals to meet, play and network.
